Dmitry Molosh – Wanderer Remixes (Superordinate Music)

The latest release on Superordinate Music finds the label revisiting Dmitry Molosh’s ‘Wanderer’ for new remixes.

Dmitry Molosh - Wanderer Remixes

Originally released in August of 2015 as part of the ‘I Feel It EP’, the track, along with its companion went on to earn support and play from Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J. Now for Superordinate’s 16th overall release we see the label calling upon Simos Tagias, Robert R. Hardy and K Nass to reinvent the track for 2016.

Leading the release off and making his first appearance on the label is Simos Tagias. The Greek producer and Movement Recordings label artist had huge year in 2015. His ‘Exist’ collaboration with fellow countryman Jorgio Kioris proved to one of the year’s best progressive house records and a lush remix from Cid Inc certainly didn’t hurt either. Getting the year off to a great start Simos takes ‘Wanderer’ and injects his own brand of progressive funk into the track. The Greek producer’s trademark rugged qualities really standout here, from a chugging groove filled with character to a lively cadence it’s another one perfectly dialled in for the dance floor. The main break brings on some epic vibes with a wall of euphoric synths that are sure to produce many magic moments in the months ahead. Great remix from Simos.

Next up we see Robert R. Hardy returning to the label for his fourth appearance. The Hungarian artist has been integral part of the UK imprints success over its first year having appeared four times and delivering the excellent ‘Sensus’ and ‘Dark Explorations’ EPs. Here we see Robert taking Dmitry’s edgy progressive original and remoulding it into a deep and enchanting journey that his diehard fans are sure to love. Backed by a dubby groove and lush, rhythmic qualities it doesn’t take long for Robert’s magic to grab your full attention. It’s slow burning nature seems ideally suited for late night action and a smooth transition through its second act adds just enough spark to light up the dance floor. Classy stuff from Robert.

Closing the release out is K Nass who is returning to Superordinate for his second appearance. The Egyptian producer delivered one of his career best productions for the label just last month with a killer remix of Julian Rodriguez and White Resonance ‘El Sol Y La Luna’. Here he is on form once again with a fabulous rework of ‘Wanderer’. For as twisted and tripped out as his ‘El Sol Y La Luna’ remix was K Nass’ ‘Wanderer’ interpretation takes things in a deeper direction. Anchored by a solid, progressive minded groove, it’s the dubby qualities and roaming atmospheric textures which are most tantalizing here. Definitely a mix to drift off into but with enough dance floor sensibility to keep your feet moving. Great remix from K Nass and a top notch remix package from Superordinate, who continue to impress as 2016 rolls forward.
