What’s In Your Box: Squire

With Squire’s ‘Showtime’ EP out this week on Tenampa Recordings, we take a look at his favourite tracks of the moment in the latest edition of What’s In Your Box?

Squire

1. Sis – Wurlitzer in Me [DFTD]

One of my favorite artists of all times, he comes with a unique EP with the top track banging a mellow and sweet groove typical from SIS, plus feeling the pure organic melodies along the whole track tracing that big deep but energetic vibe to it!

2. Mr. G – Transient [K7 Records]

A classic from Mr G, pure house essence with a straight groove is a perfect tune to hit the dance floor anytime. Simplicity over great soul/funk vocals to keep on dancing all night long.

3. Squire – Showtime [Tenampa Recordings]

Showtime is a track that mixes angry dark energetic vibes with a deep trippy touch coming from the mythical Microkorg which makes you float around the dance floor.i guess is a nice track to play at a small dark German club 🙂

4. Nighttalk – Gamma [Aym]

Another surprising great track by Nightalk, here we have a great warm up song to get the party started, while the music evolves us with a huge breakdown turning into a massive energetic snare fills as the main leitmotif melody keeps on banging us the progression towards the drop is definitely a must play track elsewhere!

5. Chymera – Screen In Technicolour [Outpost Recordings]

Progression is the word for this weapon, Chymera does it again with a great groovy vibe alongside some powerful melodies that makes this song so special!

6. Kerri Chandler – Pong (Ben Clock Remix) [Deeply Rooted House]

Tracing the House vibe an interesting remix from this techno legend. Definitely an interesting groove to listen to, inspirational pads and a powerful melody behind which leads you to play it in a nice open air terrace!

7. Guy Gerber – Secret Encounters [Rumurs]

Goosebumps! As expected from Guy, incredible emotional melodies going by a super deep techy groove with the floating pads surrounding your ears and making you dance all over!

8. Phase – Perplexed (Rodhad Extended Mix) [Token]

Rodhad brings us a techno tune ready to hit you strongly. One of my favorite tunes to listen into an open air big room festival specially at sunrise. Great atmospheric vibes that leads you to get lost while the beat is warm enough to keep you going and feeling the great energy that Rodhad managed to mix !

9. Squire – Spring Romance  ft. Forrest [My Favorite Robot Records]

Spring Romance is a sweet deep tune that leads you to feel in love with someone! 🙂 a melancholic but energetic groove at the same time makes a great combination to get a dark unexpected vocal from Forrest which completes the whole environment in a dark sweet sensation that will make you smile.

10. Chaim – Blue Shadows [Rumors]

My top 10 ends up with an exclusive unique an original track from Chaim, this is actually one of my favorite records. So what else is to say? just have a listen and get yourself lost :))  with love!
