zweitausendeins Traum – Asymmetric (Clinique Recordings)

The 37th release on Clinique Recordings sees Nick Quadrat’s newly coined zweitausendeins Traum alias coming back for a new single. Nick debuted his new alias in August of this year and has since delivered a remix for Electronic Tree. His new single for Clinique is entitled ‘Asymmetric’ and it comes with remixes from: Alfredo Calderini and Matteo Monero.

The smooth, pulsating sounds that zweitausendeins Traum showcased so well on his previous two productions is evident here as well. The tough framework gives it some nice energy and the sultry atmospheres which hover around the groove paint a wonderful sonic landscape. Another great production from Nick’s new alias no doubt. The first remix is supplied by Alfredo Calderini who is returning to Clinique for his second appearance with first coming back in July with the excellent ‘The Setbacks’ single. Alfredo’s ‘Asymmetric’ interpretation is a rumbling old school progressive house creation that’s got an amazing big room vibe. The expansive framework is loaded with energy and the soaring atmospherics make it an ideal peak time record. Closing the release out is Matteo Monero who is making his second appearance on Clinique. The Italian producer has been rocking it for years now and he’s delivered another amazing remix here. In putting a slightly melancholic spin on things Matteo’s delivered a haunting sounding interpretation that’s destined for some sunrise sets no doubt. Great release from Clinique and an awesome second original for zweitausendeins Traum who continues to grow his new alias.
