The 17th release on Breeze & Quadrat’s Clinique Recordings is out this week and it sees the debut of 3sidesquare to the label. Daniel Lea hails from St. Helens, Merseyside in the UK and has been producing music for 12 years under the Urban Lea alias. His cool progressive house sound has been featured on labels like OLD SQL, Simply Records, Inspired and many others. This week sees Daniel debuting his 3sidesquare alias on Clinique. His first single under the new alias is entitled ‘Delv’ and it comes with remixes from Loquai and Toppy.

The original mix comes across as a cool blend of progressive and deeper sounding house. Big bass stabs, forceful drums and rhythmic tones lock down a good groove while some subtle atmospheres add some nice depth. The main break presents a lush sounding vocal pad along with gorgeous textures which provide a nice interlude before the second half of the track which finishes very strong. The first remix is provided by scene favourite Loquai who is returning to Clinique for his second overall appearance. Loquai has once again delivered a great remix which turns out to be our favourite on the package. Irresistibly groovy with some distinctly late night vibes and catchy hooks this is sure to be a delight on a wide range of dance floors. The final remix comes from Toppy who we have been loving since we heard his early productions on LuPS back in 2009. Toppy has gone on to appear on labels like Mistique, Festival Lounge and frisky. His remix here marks his third appearance on Clinique and he continues to deliver great productions. Toppy’s ‘Delv’ interpretation makes great use of the rhythmic elements from the original for a deep and intoxicating journey that’s filled with gaseous atmospheres. Another excellent release from Clinique that should earn them even more fans in the progressive house underground. Release Promo Hype Chart Top 25
