Since their first big break in 2012 the Adana Twins have established a sterling reputation, refining their sound constantly, pushing the boundaries of their musical ambition and evolving organically with the passage of time.
Friso: I still remember having seen ‘The Sound Of The Season’ laying in a glass cabinet at the entrance of Sven Väth’s new cocoon Club in Frankfurt back in the days when I was 16 or 17. At that time I of course could have not imagined being part of the 2019 version with two tracks of our label TAU and a remix of ours.
Benjamin: I was really into hip-hop when I was young and have always listened to a local radio show on Radio Flora with Fall Schacht who is one of Germany’s most famous Hip-Hop journalists nowadays. This radio show with its amazing music selection and some turntable battle events like ITF or DMC inspired me to become a DJ.
