The latest release on System Recordings features the return of AudioStorm to the label. The Montenegrin producer has had a fabulous start to 2014 with quality releases on Sleepless Nights, Spring Tube, Jetlag Digital and PHW Elements. His second appearance on System Recordings is out this week and features his brand new 3 track EP entitled ‘Machu Picchu’.
For those that loved AudioStorm’s System debut ‘Secret Investigation’ you’re bound to enjoy ‘Machu Picchu’ as well. It’s deeply hypnotic grooves and trippy lines are sure to excite the majority of progressive house fans and it’s minimalistic nature keeps it cool and contemporary as well. The EP’s second cut ‘Breakpoint’ offers a departure into blissful electronica which in addition to adding nice variety to the EP also shows AudioStorm is much more than just a progressive house producer. The beachside vibes are strong on this one and it sets up the EP’s final piece ‘Smooth Horizon’ quite nicely. Going down as the most dance floor ready production on the EP ‘Smooth Horizon’ boasts a percussive groove that’s full of strong rhythmic components and heavenly sounding atmospheres. It rounds out the strong 3 track EP in fine form and proves to be a very worthy follow-up to ‘Secret Investigation/Control Factor’.
