Beat Syndrome’s ‘Symmetry’ first appeared on Crossfade Sounds ‘Crossing Borders’ Vol. 1 compilation which was released in February of this year. It was the beginning of something special both for Beat Syndrome and Crossfade Sounds. ‘Symmetry’ was regarded as one of Beat Syndrome’s most genre stretching productions to date and the compilation seemed to further define the contemporary sound of the label. Now for Crossfade Sounds 20th offering we see ‘Symmetry’ getting an official single release with a new remix from Estroe.

Beat Syndrome’s incredibly funky groove, lovely rhythmic tones, spacious drums and soulful instrumentation still sounds as fresh today as it did almost a year ago and Estroe seems like the ideal choice to reconstruct the track. A long time purveyor of intelligent electronica Estroe’s studio creations have appeared on Bedrock, Connoisseur, Get Physical and her own EevoNext imprint. For her ‘Symmetry’ interpretation the Dutch producer has conjured up her own unique flair once again. With funky hooks and subtle melancholic themes set to a shimmering atmospheric backdrop it’s a mix that’s immediately captivating. Estroe’s fresh take on the wonderful instrumentation from the original exudes soul and with new rhythmic themes presented during the records second act it’s going to be dynamite on the floor as well.
