BOg: What’s In Your Box

Fresh off releases on Bedrock and Innervisions, BOg gives us his current top 10 in the latest edition of What’s In Your Box.

Alessio Pagliaroli – Called Obsolete [Upon You Records]

Bought this one last week few hours before my gig in Limassol. It got right away and i can tell you that works really well on the dancefloor too.

Tunnelvisions – Tanami [Atomnation]

This one has been sent to me by a friend. The original BPM of this track is 109 but if you pitch it up to 120 or 122 BPM it becomes a beast! I just can’t get sick of it.

DJ Merlon ft. Black Coffee & Khaya Mthethwa – Reflections (Enoo Napa Afro Dub) [DM.Recordings]

I love the floating vibes of this track. It takes you far away deep into space. Closed the last party i have been playing with this one. For sure one track that needs your attention!

DC Salas – Cala Falco ft. Joy Wellboy (JMII’s 2AM Dub) [Biologic Records]

JMII is one hell of a producer and all the Hivern Discs crew are just something else. This remix makes no mistake. Pure electronic music on a different level. I use this kind of tracks to most of my sets. I don’t use banger with long bridges instead i prefer this kind of music, tracks that are really hard worked to every small detail of it. I think this way people experience music in the true meaning of it. It’s about taking people on a journey and make them feel in a way connected with this music. Music that has no emotion is just…. beats.

Hosh, Tim Engelhardt – Island Blue (Stories From Sa Talaia Album)

This one i got it from my good friend Tim Engelhardt some time ago. It is a collaboration of him with Hosh for his album ‘Stories From Sa Talaia’. If you haven’t heard the album yet you can find it on Hosh’s official SoundCloud for free. A very organic and inspiring album. You can really have that island feeling when listening to this track and to Hosh’s album. He tells a story for sure and that’s what i love. Well… no surprise it’s HOSH!!! 😉

Nandu – See You Feat Vâlvâ [Rebirth]

A beautiful tune from Nandu that will make your day better. That’s all i am saying.

KiNK – Neutrino [DGTL]

I love the way this track keep you in there wanting for more. It takes you up and down and up again. It has that analog feeling vibe and is for sure that kind of track that will win the test of time. Kink will never dissappoint you. A lovely human and a true artist.

Denis Horvat – Bruto [Afterlife]

Denis has been delivering quality music for some time and you have to admit that he knows what he’s doing. I have been playing this for some time and it is really messing with your head.

Clavis – Circino [These Eyes]

This one has just been released on André Hommen’s brand new label called ‘These Eyes’ I love how simple this track is but in the same time very smart.

Talaboman – Sideral (BCN Version) [Hivern Discs]

I just rediscovered this one couple of days ago when listening through some older records. Brought joy to my heart hahaha! It’s one of my all time favorite tracks..
