In the heart of Belgium’s thriving Hard Techno movement, ALE2S – represents a new generation of artists who values connection over hype.

ALE2S and his journey from bedroom sessions to packed clubs mirrors the raw energy that defines his sound – direct, unfiltered, and built on years of dedication to his craft.

Music shaped ALE2S early. “I listened to everything,” he recalls. “My iPod was full of every genre imaginable. The first time I heard jumpstyle and tekstyle on the radio, I went crazy.” Formal training in saxophone and piano gave him structure, but it was the energy of clubs like Complex, Cherry Moon, and The Oh! Live that lit the fuse. “When DJs like DJ Ghost, Cherry Moon Trax, and Lethal MG played festivals, I was always in the front row.”

By his teens, ALE2S was already experimenting behind the decks. “I was fourteen, playing at a friend’s place whose father was a brewer. We’d throw parties in his workshop after hours. The police often came knocking,” he laughs. Even then, his natural instinct for mixing set him apart. “I immediately knew how to match the tracks’ tempo and play with the EQs. It felt very natural.”

His DJ journey began at fourteen, spinning at a friend’s makeshift party space. “The police often came knocking,” he laughs. From those underground sessions to his current residency, ALE2S has built his reputation on reliability, originality, and a sharp understanding of the crowd. “Becoming a resident starts with practice, trust, and professionalism. You have to be consistent and technically strong.” Already supported by names like DNNS, FOXA, Vana Vivacious, Marco Ginelli, Medoo, Euphorian, and Pako Marckx he maintains his rise has been both organic and hard-earned.

Within Belgium’s tightly knit Hard Techno scene, ALE2S identifies the true frontrunners – DNNS, Low E, Novah, FOXA, MANDY, DYEN, Volunt Barbati, Luna Fields, CDRC, Skeletor Yogi, Joyhauser, Ondulada, and Jan Vercauteren – and now wants to see himself named amongst those. He’s developed his own style: “Raw, direct, bouncy, and groovy, with heavy kicks and industrial sounds that I make myself. “I freestyle a lot. Every set is new. I use loops, FX, and live edits to tell a story that keeps people in the moment.”

As a producer, ALES2 handles everything himself. Having started at sixteen, he has nailed every stage of the creative process – from producing and mixing, to mastering his own work. “It’s how I keep learning and refining my sound. Every track is part of my evolution.”

Citing 999999999 and Sara Landry as inspirations, ALE2S draws more from their authenticity than their sonics. “They’re consistent and genuine. They connect deeply with their fans. That’s what I strive for.

His defining moment so far came at CAVE 28BIGGER. LOUDER. HARDER!!! on April 30th 2025, a performance he calls “a turning point.” Despite acknowledging the local scene’s competitive edge, he remains focused on positivity. “I stay true to myself and use music as a connecting force. My role is to bring energy that inspires others.” Looking ahead, ALE2S promises continuous evolution. “I’ll keep experimenting and exploring new directions, but I’ll never lose sight of my core style.”

With ambitions to release more original material and expand his reach, ALE2S remains anchored by mindset. That blend of self-belief and humility defines him. “Without the right mindset and vision, you get nowhere,” he says simply. “It’s my driving force.”
