From inspirations that fuel her music to reflections on Bosnia’s thriving music scene, Rialda opens up about her journey, hopes for the future, and advice for aspiring artists.

Rialda! Great to have you. How has your 2024 been?

Thank you for having me. Well 2024 was really the toughest, most challenging and transformative but the best at the same time. So many career changes, “survived” my pregnancy and the roller coaster of different emotions, did so many new projects that I can’t wait to share and I have a baby. It was a busy year for me.

What are your hopes and dreams for 2025? Anything you wish to change or a path to follow?

The biggest change that is coming in 2025 is me. In all areas. I think I’m ready for a new era and I’m excited for that.

What is your relationship with EB music? How did you come to release on the label?

E.B Music and I are definitely in a relationship, you had that right. My husband to be is actually the head of the new music label that we decided to form. As the singles were done we had a lot of talking and thinking about the label that was going to release “ Found the way “ and “Sada najbolja” but at the end we all agreed that we needed a fresh start and a fresh label. Elvis the founder of E.B Music was in the show business for a long time and that was the logical step to make.

How would you describe your sound?

Empowering lyrics for all of us who need to find themselves wrapped in the amazing mix of afro and house sound. Balkan doing worldwide. That is the perfect description.

Where do you draw inspiration from before getting in the studio?

Earlier in my career I was focused on flow but nowadays I’m looking at the alignment with my real life because that boosts the emotions through the music even more.

What would you say the music scene is like in Bosnia? How does it differ from other places?

I think that the music scene in Bosnia is at the top of the game at the moment. There are so many different artists and you can actually feel freedom and art in the music making. When I was starting it was more limiting and I was kind of bored. Now is the best time to experiment with different styles.

What artists are you following at the moment? Who is inspiring you?

I have a huge “crush” on Teddy Swims music at the moment. He’s on my playlist 24/7.

What advice would you give to a young artist looking to make it?

Keep going! No matter how tough it gets, it’s going to be worth it.

Who is your biggest inspiration?

The inspo that I always use to improve myself is the old me in every way. As I get wiser I always use my old mistakes, patterns and even old ways of thinking, acting and doing to push myself to be better.

What was the last record that blew you away?

Tayna – Si Ai! Heard it the first time on Orhan Mahmut Tik Tok and I love it!

Rialda – “Found The Way” (Sada najbolja)” is out now on EB Music.
