Circulate

The New South London Summer Series ‘Circulate’ will be held across 3 venues

Phonox has announced the launch of Circulate, a forward-thinking summer event series designed to connect three pivotal South London venues – Phonox, M.O.T. and Jumbi – into a single day-to-night programme. Commencing on May 16th, 2026, the series introduces a distinctive format that moves audiences across different environments in Brixton, South Bermondsey and Peckham, challenging industry norms and elevating the capital’s clubbing landscape. The inaugural season features a heavy-hitting international roster including Derrick Carter, DJ Nobu, Egyptian Lover and Young Marco, curated to foster a unified vision for contemporary club culture.

The series is anchored by the established club environment of Phonox, while incorporating M.O.T.’s industrial open-air space for daytime sessions and Jumbi’s unique social atmosphere. This strategic collaboration between independent venues focuses on experiential diversity, allowing the electronic music community to move between soundscapes and atmospheres within a cohesive South London ecosystem.

“We’re collectively excited to launch this new event series and format, bringing together three cornerstones of South London’s nightlife for the first time,” says Sammi Hussien of Phonox. “Over the course of three months, we will host some of our favourite artists from across the world and place them in the heart of the capital city.”

The programming reflects a continuous curatorial thread rather than standalone bookings, featuring a vast array of talent including Leon Vynehall, Soichi Terada, Josey Rebelle, and Optimo (Espacio). By connecting these venues, Circulate acts as a collective expression of the area’s growing influence, creating new opportunities for artists and audiences to engage with the creative energy of South London.
