From the cobblestone streets of Lviv to sprawling soundscapes of cosmic fiction, Haidoโs music has always been guided by instinct and emotional honesty.
Haido’s journey began amid the cityโs alternative rock, nu-metal, and hardcore scenes, where small, intense circles of friends became the foundation of raw, uncompromising creativity. Life on-stage mirrored life off-stage, shaping a philosophy that remains central to Haido today: create what feels natural, resist trends, and let intuition guide the process.
Haido traces his first fully realized sound to 2020โs Youโre Gone, released under the pseudonym KDNP. โEven though it belongs to what Iโd call a trial phase, it planted the seed of what Iโm doing today,โ he recalls. A shift toward solo work allowed for experimentation without compromise, culminating in the Haido era and the October 2025 release of Tales Beyond. The album, initially conceived under the working title Pulsar, blends Elektron synths, samplers, and the Arturia Microfreak into a narrative that oscillates between cosmic fiction and intimate storytelling.
Collaboration with mastering engineer Andrรฉs Mayo offered an outside perspective Haido valued in his otherwise self-contained workflow. โBeing in a bubble, that feedback really matters,โ he explains. The resulting album doesnโt just reflect technical skill but also a deeper engagement with personal and national narratives. Tracks like Fragile 92 and My Generator transform fictional worlds into vessels for real-world emotion, embedding hope and gratitude in response to Ukraineโs ongoing struggles.
Haidoโs story is not one of genre but of emotional resonance, from the first sparks of Lvivโs underground to the expansive sonic universe of Tales Beyond. Each release is a dialogue between lived experience and imagination, a testament to music as both a personal compass and a creative chronicle of place, time, and resilience.
