Dark Soul Project and Santiago Garcia return to their Baires Records imprint this week for a new single. The Argentinean duo continue to produce some of the freshest sounding progressive and tech house in the industry. Their recent remix for Manual Music was a real highlight and their new single looks to be the perfect track for the end of the summer clubbing season. ‘Just One Second’ comes with remixes from two of today’s best up and coming talents Navar and MUUI.

‘Just One Second’ presents that energetic progressive / tech house fusion that DSP and Santiago have become so loved for. The bouncy groove and poppy drums get some wicked momentum rolling early while the brilliantly woven synth lines add the perfect hypnotic complement. The main lead is one of DSP and Santiago’s most infectious hooks yet, the drone like tones carry a fresh summer vibe and the feel good melody just seems to better with each successive listen. Top stuff from Dark Soul Project and Santiago Garcia.

The first remix is provided by Navar who is one of 2013’s most hyped new producers. There is something magical in almost all his productions as anyone who has heard ‘Fragma’ or ‘Le Paradigme’ will certainly attest to. His interpretation of ‘Just One Second’ proves to be the ideal deep complement to DSP and Santi’s masterful original. The squirrelly synth has been down played wonderfully and the sultry beats sound absolutely divine. The ever so slight atmospheric backdrop creates the perfect amount of anticipation and should prove to be ideal for the warm-up hours. More great work from Navar.

The final remix on the release comes from another very hot producer at the moment: MUUI. The Australian producer first came to our attention with his productions for Eelke Kleijn’s Outside The Box Music. The first half of 2013 has seen MUUI really grow in popularity with releases on Crossfade Sounds, Soundteller, Spring Tube, Lowbit and Baroque. MUUI’s ‘Just One Second’ interpretation showcases his diverse style really well with a deep tech house vibe that’s destined for dance floor success. The amazing thing about this and most of MUUI’s productions is how diverse they are. You’ll probably see tech house, progressive and even deep house DJs dropping this one in the coming months. Outstanding release from Baires. Release Promo Hype Chart Top 10
