The 343rd release on Balkan Connection welcomes Diego Azocar to the label for a brand new single.

Diego Azocar - Work Of Your Hands (Balkan Connection)

The Argentinean producer last appeared on the label with his interpretation of Jonaton Ramonda’s ‘Nave 088’ which was released in April of this year. Diego now presents his first single for Balkan Connection entitled ‘Work Of Your Hands’ which includes remixes from Silinder and Michael A.

I think the first time I heard about Diego was a few years ago when Hernan Cattaneo played one or more of this tracks at Creamfields Buenos Aires. His work had a great open air party feel to it which I absolutely loved and ‘Nave 088’ comes with a similar vibe. It’s spacious percussion, rising atmospherics and indistinct motifs are enchanting to say the least. The track reaches an exhilarating peak at the tail end of the first act just prior to the breakdown commencing. The beauty of it is it never gets any bigger, the fluid break just takes you further into serene soundscapes which play out wonderfully over a tranquil third act. Definitely one for the big venues out there, beautiful work from Diego.

The first interpretation of ‘Work Of Your Hands’ is provided by Silinder who is making his sixth appearance on Balkan Connection. The Irish producer has continued dominating the progressive house underground this year with recent production work for Sleepless Nights and Click Recordings being sensational. Always a consummate remixer Gav has added his trademark club grooves to the ‘Work of Your Hands’ theme. His tightly programmed beats and more distinct hooks definitely give it some extra pop but the wonderful soft vibe from the original is conveyed really well regardless. Beautiful remix from Silinder.

The second and final interpretation of ‘Work Of Your Hands’ is provided by Michael A who is making his 20th appearance on Balkan Connection. The Belarus based producer and Genesis Music label boss has become a favourite of both Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J this year. Several of Michael’s productions have earned chart, club and radio support from the legendary DJs and his stock in the underground is growing with each successive release. His interpretation here showcases his deep, new school style wonderfully. That atmospheric storyboard from the original is once again the star of the show and Michael’s beats, growling acidic underbelly and tailored percussion lays down the perfect framework for it. Another top notch production from the Genesis Music boss and a great release from Balkan Connection once again.
