Double Touch’s New EP is a Masterful Blend of Classical and Electronic Sounds

The emerging duo, Double Touch, has teamed up with All Day I Dream to produce a four-track EP that combines classical piano and electronic deep house like we’ve never heard before. Double Touch is comprised of two artists from different worlds: the Aussie talent Mark Olsen and critically-acclaimed pianist Van-Anh Nguyen. The resulting EP, titled “Adagio,” is a success in combing both talents and each track is a pleasure to listen to.

The opening track, Adagio, leans more towards a classical sounding song. Baghdad takes inspiration from Balkan music and is rooted more in the deep house realm. The subsequent tracks are a beautiful blend of both piano and electronic sounds, each carrying a different vibe. Cape Cove is more upbeat and summery, and Piano Sines feels a bit darker and mysterious.

Double Touch is forging a new path in electronic music, and we could not be more excited to see where the duo takes us.
