The latest release on Wicked Imprint finds the label revisiting Eddie F’s ‘Wisdom 2 the Wise’.
Originally released in July of this year the project showcased the Slovenian producers forward thinking take on house music. The track proved so popular that the dub version shot up to #2 in the labels best sellers chart on Beatport. Now we find Wicked Imprint calling upon Sabb to reinvent the track for the fall club season.
Hailing from Kosovo but now based in Switzerland Sabb has enjoyed much success since beginning the alias in 2009. Appearances on Saved, Noir, Moon Harbour and his own SK Supreme imprint have all been sensational. Known for his fresh approach to production his creations are often viewed as borderless by his peers. A favourite of both house and techno DJs Sabb delivers an excellent rendition of ‘Wisdom 2 the Wise’ for his Wicked Imprint debut. Building on the original’s deep, melodic vibe the Swiss based artist adds his own brand of techno inspired energy with tough beats, strong rhythms and new hypnotic motifs. It makes for a rousing first act which peaks with a series of snares before the main vocal hook gets dropped in. Sure to be a big moment on the floor the hypnotic cadence of the track continues building slowing for an exhilarating third act conclusion. Excellent remix from Sabb and a great release on Wicked Imprint once again. Don’t miss it.
