Eliezer, founder of Chicken Town Records, returns with his latest EP, Chicken Town, set for release on November 21st. Known for his distinctive post-punk and electronic sound, Eliezer has established himself as a consistent and innovative presence in New York City’s music scene.
Eliezer and his Chicken Town EP reflects the label’s signature style, combining spoken word elements with genre-blurring electronic production. Across three tracks, the release delivers a high-energy sound that sits between Eliezer’s own style and influences like Underworld, creating a collection that balances underground intensity with fresh sonic exploration.
Alongside the release, Eliezer has announced three Chicken Town events in New York City. The first takes place on November 21st at The Sultan Room, followed by a Night Club 101 show on November 28th, and a return to The Sultan Room in January, with additional events to be confirmed. Each event is designed to showcase the label’s creative energy and distinctive musical approach, offering a platform for experimental and forward-thinking performances.
Eliezer has contributed to the wider electronic music landscape with releases on labels including New Day Everyday, La Dame Noir Records, Play Pal Music, Nein Records, and La Belle. His personal edits, such as Psycho Killer and Sinnerman, remain popular with DJs and tastemakers, while recent releases David Bowie and Love Is A Drug have received support from Groove Armada, Steve Lawler, Oscar G, Paco Osuna, DJ Harvey, and others.
As a DJ, Eliezer’s sets are known for their instinctive and energetic approach, bridging underground club environments and international stages. His performances are immersive and unpredictable, engaging both dancers and fellow selectors, and his work continues to resonate across the U.S., Mexico, South America, Europe, the UK, and Asia.
Chicken Town Records blends acid house, indie electronica, leftfield sounds, and modern punk influences, positioning itself as a platform for experimental and independent music. The label’s events reflect this ethos, highlighting distinctive sounds and performance energy that set them apart from mainstream club programming.
Eliezer has performed at venues worldwide, including House of Yes (NYC), Floyd (Miami), Sisyphos (Germany), Audio Club (London), and Silencio (France), sharing stages with acts such as Apparat, WhoMadeWho, Ivan Smagghe, and Rebolledo. His Summer 2025 tour included stops in Romania, Ibiza, London, Marseille, Paris, and Tel Aviv before returning to U.S. residencies.
Chicken Town marks the next step in Eliezer’s discography, combining his electronic production with the energy of his label’s events. The EP and accompanying New York City shows continue to explore new directions in electronic music.
