Embassy One enlists Tripolism, Anton Khabbaz, Zamna Soundsystem & Andro to do the business on Cigarettes After Sex’s 2017 hit Apocalypse.

The pack follows the earlier reinterpretation on Embassy One by Pete Tong, MoBlack, Max Zotti, and Monolink, who took the track in several new stylistic directions. Apocalypse has remained popular since its original release, with significant streaming numbers and critical recognition for its emotive sound and Monolink’s vocal performance.

Danish trio Tripolism opens the remix pack with a textured, layered version of Apocalypse. Known for their single Dope Dance and debut album Absolute Dope, Tripolism combine warped synths, subtle vocal fragments, and unexpected transitions to create a version that emphasizes atmosphere and rhythm, providing a new perspective on the original track.

Los Angeles-based producer Anton Khabbaz contributes a melodic remix, using flowing pads and intricate percussion to highlight Monolink’s vocals. His approach adds an immersive, ethereal quality, allowing listeners to experience the song in a more hypnotic, ambient context while maintaining its emotional core.

Zamna Soundsystem, drawing on the festival heritage of Mexico’s Zamna Festival, collaborates with Italian producer Andro for a high-energy remix. This version features strong low-end rhythms, dynamic breakdowns, and a driving tempo, targeting peak-time festival and club play while retaining key elements of the original composition.

Pete Tong, MoBlack, and Max Zotti also include an Indie Version that strips back electronic production, focusing on raw instrumentation and vocal performance. This version offers a more intimate take on the song, bridging the gap between electronic and alternative interpretations.
