Two of Dubai’s sharpest operators join forces on Heaven, the fourth release on Life In Colour, written and produced by Shahin Shantiaei and Mario Bazouri. The record doesn’t chase a genre tag so much as a mood: desert-tinged melodics blur the line between synthesis and acoustic feel, while a patient, unhurried arrangement gives the vocal space to cut through.

Lyrically, Shantiaei zeroes in on the screens that script our mornings and filter our beliefs: “Is it A.I or you?” lands like a quiet alarm, and “Feels like the Heaven’s owned by the Satan” frames the track’s anxious core without melodrama. The production keeps that tension taut—kicks with purpose, percussion that breathes, and a midrange glow that hints at relief without ever resorting to bombast. It’s the sound of restraint wielded as pressure.

There’s pedigree, too. The original was spotlighted in Made By Pete’s Essential Mix in 2024, and his own remix—courtesy of the Life In Colour boss—nudges the cut toward peak-time floors while preserving the song’s central spell. Think more thrust, same message.

Background matters here: the Spanish DJ/producer Mario Bazouri has long bridged Spain and Dubai, holding down major venues and a weekly show on Ibiza Global Radio UAE. His palette—infectious percussion, ethnic inflections, dark melodic synths—has landed releases on Sony Music, Redolent, Exotic Refreshment, and Sudam. Shahin Shantiaei, with 50+ releases to his name, supplies the voice and the measured hand that keeps Heaven elegant under pressure.

Trend-agnostic and quietly forceful, Heaven reads like a considered response to the attention economy—music that asks what we trust, then answers with craft.
