Bermudos returns this week after a nice break in their release schedule for a new remix edition of KAGO DO’s ‘Sunrise P-14’. The duo from Thailand began their production career just over two years ago and have since had a string of impressive outings on Bermudos, Stereo Paradise, Quadrature and Bonzai. For the 29th release on Bermudos the label has put together a great remix package for ‘Sunrise P-14’ which comes with new interpretations from: Erdi Irmak, Tech D, Dmitry Molosh, Komaroff and Mauro Norti.
The first remix from Erdi Irmak has really been generating a lot of hype over the last week or so. Many DJs love the Turkish producers sound and his remix here turns out to be one of his finest productions to date. Another masterful tech house groove sits at the foundation while a wide array of smooth atmospheres, grainy sweeps and cool electronic hooks provide some nice magic for the dance floor. The break introduces the super catchy melodic sequence from the original and all while keeping the drums in as not to lose the groove. The track finishes with Erdi’s strong groove pushing things even harder which should delight your dance floor. The standout mix on the package for us.
Next up Tech D who is fresh off an appearance on DAR Digital’s massive ‘Showcase 001’ compilation. Here the Ukrainian producer provides a nice melodic techno interpretation. The percussive framework is nicely complemented with some quirky synths which add a cool wobbly groove to the production. Sections of the melodic theme begin to appear in nice bubbly clusters and changes the mood of the track in a really cool way. Expect some goosebump moments on your dance floor here! Very cool stuff from Tech D.
Next up is Dmitry Molosh who delivers a gorgeous mid tempo version which complements the package really well. Beginning with a breathtaking ambient intro and slowly building into a rumbling groove with some rolling undulation Dmitry’s mix grabs your attention right away. Sequences of glistening bells highlight the second half of the production on its way to wicked finish.
The hugely up and coming Russian producer Komaroff is next with a more stripped down version that really hits the spot. Kirill Komaroff was born in Russia but is now residing in Israel where he has appeared on Guy Mantzur’s Plattenbank Records. Komaroff’s deep groove sounds fabulous here and with tension filled atmospheres wavering about in the back ground there always seems to be an air of anticipation about the track. The drums carry a lot of groove and keep the great floor presence even though the melodic sections. A definite winner on dance floor no doubt.
The final remix on the package comes from Mauro Norti who is making his debut on Bermudos here after a string of gorgeous productions for Sound Avenue, Wide Angle Recordings, Agara and Stereo Paradise. Mauro hails from Belarus and his melodic techno sound has been enchanting many over the last couple of years. His first remix for Bermudos is no different as it comes with a cool glitchy vibe that should more than satisfy all the Traum fans out there. The chunky groove is destined for great reactions on the dance floor and emotional changes throughout the piece take the listener on a great journey to say the least. A very impressive remix edition from Bermudos which showcases a wide range of future star in electronic music. Highly Recommended. Release Promo Hype Chart Top 25
