Having kick-started the new decade in emphatic fashion with Dustin Holtsberryโs impressive three-track โShadowsโ EP just a few weeks ago, Franceโs most esteemed techno imprint, FORM Music, now unveils its second project of 2020, with the announcement of Klaudia Gawlasโ hard-hitting release โTime Loopโ.
Warmly welcoming the talented Polish-born producer for her long-awaited label debut, the two part package is yet another masterful showcase in dark, driving soundscapes on the forward-thinking Parisian label, with an extra-special remix from French producer and FORM Music favourite, Julian Jeweil.
Igniting the EP with the ruthless title track โTime Loopโ, Klaudia Gawlas (who was recently crowned FAZE Magโs โBest DJ of 2019โ) goes all-in from the off, delivering an intense peak-time cut, brimming with pounding kicks, hypnotic synths and expertly manipulated vocal samples throughout its heavy, seven-minute duration.
On the flip, and fresh off the back of his critically acclaimed โSchemaโ EP on Drumcode, Julien Jeweil offers his unrelenting interpretation of Gawlasโ A-side, with thunderous kicks, thumping bass and twitchy drum patters providing the backdrop to another exquisite, multi-textured remix from the in-demand Frenchman.
