Our favourite Irish label returns this week for their 13th overall release and an exciting artist debut. We last heard from Sleepless Nights Recordings with Genetic Rhythm’s ‘If I Could Change My Life’ which was released in June of this year. Now to start off the first week of September we see Lost Chord making his debut on the label with a new single which includes a remix from Dmitry Molosh.

Polish producer Kamil Marcinek aka Lost Chord was introduced to us through his many great releases on Electronic Tree. His ‘Darkness’ EP was an office favourite and he’s had a great 2013 thus far with releases on Balkan Connection, Stellar Fountain and now Sleepless Nights. His debut single for the Irish label ‘Chance For Life’ would have to be considered one of his largest sounding productions to date. Known for his amazing atmospheric sounds Lost Chord has crafted a massive, peak time groove for ‘Chance Of Life’. Waves of rattling percussion, rolling rhythms and sections of hypnotic keys all make this a dance floor winner from the up and coming Polish producer. Top stuff.

The lone remix on the release is provided by Dmitry Molosh who is returning to the label for his second appearance. The Belarus based producer delivered his ‘Moonlit Night’ EP in May of this year and has continued to be one of the freshest talents his country has to offer. His recent releases on Magic Room, Stellar Fountain Deep, Lowbit and Bermudos have been spectacular and he’s provided a great interpretation of ‘Chance For Life’ here. Dmitry has focused a slightly softer version all while staying true to the main themes from the original. The atmospheric presence of the record is all encompassing and the gorgeous break is one of Dmitry’s finest musical moments yet. Superb remix and a top shelf release from Sleepless Nights once again, don’t miss it!
