Tash’s Movement Recordings returns for a very special single track release. The labels 82nd offering finds Marcelo Vasami returning for his second appearance and first single. The much loved Argentinean producer provided a remix of Michael & Levan and Stiven Rivic’s ‘Violence’ in October of 2012 and it remains one of the labels best selling tracks to date. Marcelo’s first single for Movement is entitled ‘Dear Alessandra’ and it looks to be one of his strongest dance floor pieces to date.

An irresistibly funky groove lays down a solid foundation while some nice modulation keeps things lively as the track begins to take shape. As the momentum grows an airy vocal loop fades into the mix for a deadly hypnotic complement to the groove. The breakdown furthers the rich atmosphere of the record with a sparkling sheet of glassy synths taking centre stage. The delicate harmonics and shimmering lustre are set against a gaseous backdrop which provides the ultimate atmospheric tension for the beats to get reintroduced. The second half finishes strong with the rolling framework and soft atmospheric swells carrying the composition through to a smooth climax.
