Michael, Levan and Stiven Rivic return to their Mistique Music imprint this week for a new single. The trio is fresh off two great releases on Sound Avenue and Joof which featured some of their coolest productions to date. Their latest studio production for Mistique is entitled ‘Game Over’ and it comes with remixes from: Matias Chilano and Vlada D’Shake.

‘Game Over’ goes down as one of Michael, Levan and Stiven Rivic’s more melodic productions of late. An irresistible summer vibe runs through the piece with layers of lovely harmonies and haunting vocal pads. It’s the rhythmic stabs that really build a nice groove for all the elements to work around though and the track carries nice energy through to the centre section. There really is not much of a breakdown but rather just a few quick drops to introduce some new elements. The kaleidoscopic keys really peak in the last half of the record for a spectacular result. This is one of our favourite productions from Michael, Levan and Stiven Rivic of late and kudos to them for writing a track with no breakdown.

The first remix comes from Matias Chilano whose rise through the progressive house ranks has been well documented. An impressive release schedule over the course of 2013 has seen Matais appear on Sound Avenue, Crossfade Sounds, Mistique, Agara, Stereo Paradise, LuPS and Soundteller. Matias’ deep and atmospheric sound has melded well with Michael & Levan and Stiven Rivic’s ‘Game Over’. Filled with swirling atmospheres, really dynamic sounding drums and spacey electronics you become immediately drawn into Matias’ mix. The effortless flow that Matias’ productions have now is just incredible and this is one of his finest moments.

The package is closed out with Vlada D’Shake who is making his first appearance on Mistique. As we stated in our review for Bermudos a few weeks back Valda has been much hyped of late and rightly so. His discography now includes: Balkan Connection, Stellar Fountain, Bermudos, Electronic Tree, LuPS and Clinique which are some of the best underground labels around. Vlada’s ‘Game Over’ remix closes out the release very strong. It’s backed by a powerful groove that chugs along with some great momentum. The haunting vocal elements, bubbly hypnotic lines and spacey surroundings make for an enchanting journey that really delivers. Outstanding work again from Vlada and one of the best Mistique releases this year. Highly Recommended. Release Promo Hype Chart #1
