OXIA Drops Third Studio Album “Aelle” on Diversions Music

Across twelve tracks, the LP captures the fluid balance between club energy and emotional depth that has long defined his sound.

French electronic veteran OXIA returns with his third full-length album “Aelle,” released on Diversions Music.

After a string of acclaimed singles including Presence and Colors of Life, Aelle sees OXIA step into a freer creative space — one that prioritises groove, melody and feeling over formula. “I let my creativity run free again, without limits,” he explains. “I wanted to bring together everything I love about electronic music — groove, melody, emotion, intensity — and merge that with calmer, more introspective moments.”

The album features several long-time collaborators. Nicolas Masseyeff joins OXIA on Faces, rekindling the chemistry that shaped much of their earlier output. Yannick Baudino co-produces Silk & Fur and On The Trip, while Hen Wen (Calling The Sun) and Hacène (Silk & Fur) add distinct vocal layers that expand the project’s emotional reach.

Musically, Aelle shifts between moods rather than styles. Nuance and Faces lock into deep, groove-led flow; Calling the Sun and Saisons drift into airy, melodic territory; while Aerial and the title track explore more reflective terrain. Each piece carries OXIA’s trademark restraint — crisp, detailed production built for both floor and headphones.

With Aelle, OXIA reaffirms his place as one of France’s most consistent and quietly innovative producers. It’s an album that doesn’t aim to chase trends or scenes; it builds its own world of movement, tone and memory.
