proppaganda – Lose Your Mind (premiere)

The California producer trades cinematic atmospheres for warehouse intensity ahead of his debut mixtape.

proppaganda

California-based artist proppaganda, the creative alias of Bry Stevens, is claiming his own space in dance music.

Already earning himself the name of “Dance Music’s Daredevil,” proppaganda operates as the creative architect behind elaborate productions that blur the line between reality and artistic illusion. His recent viral milestones – from DJing underwater surrounded by live sharks in the Bahamas, to performing 11,200 feet above Brazil in a hot air balloon – has seen him set a new standard for livestream performances.

The proppaganda project is built on the concept of “Sonar Sessions,” where each episode pairs viral-worthy visual spectacles with bespoke electronic productions. Rather than executing dangerous stunts himself, Stevens assembles elite teams of professional stunt coordinators, drone operators, and extreme sports experts to bring these impossible visions to life. This collaborative approach ensures that the music remains the heartbeat of the performance. With a debut mixtape featuring unreleased IDs from both the underwater and aerial sessions arriving on April 17th, and further stunt sets already in development, proppaganda continues to prove that his artistic vision refuses to stay in one lane – or on solid ground.

Released April 3rd, “Lose Your Mind” marks a deliberate sonic evolution. While previous releases like “AERIAL” and “Takeoff” explored Latin house and melodic textures, this new cut strips away the atmospherics in favour of pounding kicks, hypnotic loops, and industrial intensity.
