Release Promo Progressive House Hype Chart Week 32

Progressive House Promo Pool and industry hype chart – Release Promo share their weekly must hear tracks.

ARP. – Kiotyroko (Aiden’s Emo Retouch) [Cinematique]

Rotterdam based ARP. returns to Cinematique this week for a brand new EP and it’s the Aiden remix which closes the package out that really grabs our attention. Aptly titled ‘Emo Retouch’ it’s a ten minute plus journey into tasteful melodies, wonky bass stabs and cinematic soundscapes. A true epic.

Galestian ft. Mira J – Tell Me (Ezequiel Arias Space Mix) [ICONYC]

john Johnson’s ICONYC imprint always seems to get the best from their artists and  Ezequiel Arias has certainly delivered his best ever remix here. Groovy, melodic and just a touch trippy; it ticks a lot of boxes and no doubt works amazing well on the dance floor.

Stas Drive – Kite on a Pure Heaven (Matter Remix) [Superordinate Music]

Matter returns to Superordinate in fine style this week, reworking one of the label’s best ever releases from Stas Drive. Liquid smooth with killer design, great drama and a highly emotive second act. Matter is on fire.

Antrim – When You Catch Me (Li-Polymer Remix) [One Of A Kind]

One artist that can do no wrong of late is Li-Polymer, he steps up big again on One Of A Kind taking a rather large progressive house original from Antrim and transforming it into a cool slice of organic deep house. The devil is in the details here. Excellent remix.

Analog Jungs – Voyager (Imran Khan Remix) [Clinique Recordings]

The Argentinean duo of Analog Jungs never disappoints and their latest on Clinique delivers as well. Imran Khan however comes up huge with a smooth, hypnotic rendition which is quite soothing and a joy to listen to.

Erdi Irmak – The Hit (Ejaz Ahamed Remix) [Yin]

Erdi Irmak’s ‘The Hit’ gets remade on Tripp Baronner’s concept Yin imprint this week. Stepping up to the task is the always excellent Ejaz Ahamed who blends organic effects and playful melodies for a tasteful nine minute journey.

Controlwerk – We Are Faded (Tuxedo Remix) [Electronic Tree]

Controlwerk’s ‘Borderline’ album gets remade this week with ten new remixes, one of which comes from Electronic Tree boss Tuxedo. Deep, soulful and a touch grandiose at moments, it’s a classy sounding mix and perfect for a late night dance floor.

Nicholas Van Orton – Artras [Balkan Connection South America]

You can always expect something special when Nicholas Van Orton returns to him home label. His latest entitled ‘Artras’ hits the spot once again with a chunky groove, quirky arps and a tension releasing drop.

Napalm & d-phrag – Heavy [Suffused Music]

The partnership of Naplam and d-phrag has certainly been a fruitful one. Now many years in and still going strong the duo return to Suffused Music this week with ‘Heavy’ one of their most adventurous productions to date. Unconventional time and combined with a killer roll make for a wicked groove while tight transitions and stunning effects keep things super fresh.

Captain E. – Escape to Lonely (Bablak Remix) [Balkan Connection]

Bablak was one of 2016’s best new names and he’s continued to impress this year as well.  Here he brings more of his rugged production qualities to ‘Escape The Lonely’ by Captain E. Great design on the low end, an intriguing vocal sample and a simple but very effect following the main break bring this one home.
