Rogier & Stage Van H – Buenos Aires (Just Movement)

Rogier-&-Stage-van-H

Just Movement’s eleventh release features label artists Rogier & Stage Van H returning for their most anticipated single to date ‘Buenos Aires’.

Rogier & Stage van H

The hugely prolific duo are making their seventh appearance on the label which follows a gorgeous remix of Daniel Gomez & Manu F ‘Freyja’. Consistent purveyors of deep, progressive excellence Rogier and Stage have crafted their latest in tribute to one of the world’s best electronic music scenes Buenos Aires.

The deep enchanting style which Rogier and Stage have become so loved for is at its finest once again here. Indistinct radio waves captivate the senses early on and build anticipation once the beats eventually drop in. Wispy atmospheric sweeps and an esoteric motif soon surround the framework while the groove begins to pick up momentum. This brings the track effortlessly to the main break where the mesmerizing theme takes you further into dreamland. The stripped down middle section lifts the vibe even higher with the swirling atmospheres eventually getting washed away for the warm groove to return. Another magical track from Rogier & Stage Van H.

The first interpretation of Buenos Aires is provided by Matias Chilano who is making his first appearance on Just Movement. The Argentinean producer has been one of his country’s most recognized progressive house artists over the last several years. Winning the first ever Sound Avenue remix contest in 2012 was a huge moment and it’s been a steady climb ever since. Hernan Cattaneo has been a huge supporter and his debut remix for Just Movement looks to be one of his best to date. Matias has added his own funky touch with a well carved groove and lovely lead tones. As with all Matias Chilano productions you get lost in all the gorgeous atmospheric textures and vocal elements. A blissful break lifts the mood higher while the third act showcases the tailored groove for an even funkier conclusion. Beautiful remix from Matias.

The second and final interpretation of ‘Buenos Aires’ is provided by Ewan Rill who is making his second appearance on Just Movement. The Russian producer just delivered a stellar remix for Daniel Gomez & Manu F ‘Freyja’ and his newly launched Sever Records imprint is doing very well. For his ‘Buenos Aires’ interpretation Ewan has crafted the most club friendly version on the release. Backed by a rolling groove and scattered electronic hits it’s got a vibrant energy straight away. Waves of atmospheric swells and enchanting vocal pads carry the track into the main break where the spacey designs take over. Anticipation builds as a stripped back portion of the groove fades in while indistinct radio samples further the otherworldly vibes. A short metallic roll then brings the warm foundation back as the momentum charges forward for a smooth finish. Wonderful remix from Ewan and another stellar release from Just Movement. Don’t miss it.
