Following a triumphant sold out 15th anniversary edition last year, London juggernautย South West Fourhas announced its first phase of acts for 2019, bringing another unrivalled line-up to the capitalโs party people. Unveiling a wealth of superstar names which includeย The Prodigy, Martin Garrix, Tinie Tempahand many more for this yearโs first phase,ย Clapham Commonย will once again be transformed into a two-day party over the biggest weekend of the summer; August Bank Holiday Weekend (Saturday 24thย โ Sunday 25thย August).
Once again, Capital will host the Outdoor Main Stage, featuring performances and DJ sets from some of the worldโs hottest artists, DJs and producers.
The day one Capital Main Stage line-up will be spearheaded by the three-time winner of the prestigiousDJ Magย โNumber 1 DJ in the Worldโ titleย Martin Garrix,ย and London-born international heroย Tinie Tempah, who will be โdisturbing Londonโ with his heavy hip-hop and rap-fused beats.
After a stand-out main stage performance last year,ย Craig Davidย will also be returning to the festival to headline the indoor main stage with hisย TS5ย takeover. With UK House star James Hype,ย highly popular songstressย Mabel,ย andย Heldeep Recordsย head honchoย Oliver Heldensย also in attendance, Saturdayโs Phase One reveal is rounded off by South London rap starย Yungen,ย andย Sigma,ย who will be returning after mesmerizing 30,000 fans at the festival last year.
Sunday 25th Augustย will be led by the thunderous tones of legendary group,ย The Prodigy, who will headline theย Main Stage following the release of their recent album โNo Touristsโ. Drum & bass iconAndy Cย will also grace the main stage – plus production supergroupย TQD.ย Chase & Statusย will touch down on the Common for the second year running after finishing off the festivalโs 15thย year in style with an inimitable live show on the main stage – this time they host their very ownย RTRN II JUNGLEย stage. With theย Capital XTRAย stage celebrating the best in UK hip-hop and R&B,ย Wileyย will be making his debut at the festival closely followed by debutantsย Wretch 32ย andย Ms Banks.
Garnering a firm reputation over the past 15 years as one of the most eagerly anticipated music weekends on the calendar, SW4 proudly stands as the capitalโs longest running electronic festival. The two-day event has amassed a huge back-catalogue of former headliners, including Faithless, Skrillex, The Chemical Brothers, deadmau5, Pendulum (Live), Rudimental, Eric Prydz and Above & Beyond, and is renowned for boasting a number of carefully curated stage hosts as well as artist’s own passion projects.
