Stuart Kingโs fingerprints have been all over progressive house for two decades now, and heโs back with a double-A-side on Stripped Digital.
โTheravardaโ sees Stuart King serving upย a moody, slinky bassline, topped off with a hypnotic sitar hook and some trippy effects. But itโs Stuart Kingโs other track, โYogic Flyingโ, that really makes this release, in my opinion. Itโs low-tempo house bliss, with punchy percussion, a warm, fat bassline, and lazy but uplifting Balearic melodies, and it builds beautifully, with the chimes that take centre-stage halfway through proving a real highlight. At the end of Frozen, Olaf gets his own personal winter. Having โYogic Flyingโ in your headphones is like the converse โ itโs your own personal slice of summer that you can enjoy whateverโs going on around you. What a absolute delight.
