Released on February 13, 2026, the Maryland-born artist TAYOTERRA frames the track as a descent into the prehistoric cave network of Lascaux, translating humanity’s earliest visual storytelling into a late-night, body-driven club language.
The concept is not superficial branding. “Lascaux” is built around a persistent tribal percussion groove that feels ritualistic rather than decorative. The drums do not simply push the track forward; they anchor it. Around them, tension-heavy atmospheres stretch and contract, creating the sensation of moving through enclosed, echoing space.
