With โEkstacโ, the gifted Belfast producer shows why Annie Mac amongst many others have predicted a breakthrough year for Ekstac. The track showcases a euphoric vocal, hypnotic acid line and a poignant breakdown, to give ‘Ekstac’ a vintage โ90s progressive house feel, whilst still sounding completely fresh.
In his own words, Ejeca said: โI wanted to make a house/trance crossover track, ‘Trouse’ music. It’s all based around the big breakdown, vocal and the acid line that comes in. I tried to break a few rules! Nostalgic euphoria from the 90s smiley face era.โ
