Tolga Diler – Fallback (Suffused Music)

Suffused Music returns this week with a huge new single from one of Turkey’s most loved progressive house producers. After a sensational remix of Advent’s Rising ‘Unexpected Conditions’ Tolga Diler returns to Suffused for his first single. ‘Fallback’ is his latest studio production and it comes with remixes from: Alberto Blanco and Marcelo Paladini, Dr. Avalance and Suggy.

Tolga’s original mix is a fresh blend of tech house and deeper progressive sensibilities. The gentle hypnotic framework and tough beats carry the track to the main drop. Here the distinctive vocal samples really come to life along with some heartfelt musicality. As the kick drops back in the ethereal sounding sheets of melody begin to escalate along with the overall atmospheric scope of the record. This brings a gorgeous conclusion to the track that is one of Tolga’s shining moments thus far. The first remix is supplied by Alberto Blanco and Marcelo Paladini who are working together once again for their debut appearance on Suffused. The Argentinean duo made their mark with a top remix of Beat Syndrome’s ‘Fallen’ which was released on Travis MacDonald’s Agara Music. A cool single on Mistique Music was showcased last week and here they’ve delivered a wicked remix of ‘Fallback’. Alberto and Marcelo have reworked the great elements from the original into a driving hypnotic masterpiece that really stands out here. The swirling atmospheric haze, clusters of claps, vocal snips and wavering melodic themes all meld together for a big time production from Alberto and Marcelo. The next interpretation comes from Dr. Avalance who is making his first appearance on Suffused here. The Spanish producer has really come up with something quite cool here. With a newly crafted funkiness that comes in the form of a nasally sounding line Dr. Avalance has created a superb and unique complement to the other mixes here. The final remix on the release is provided by Suggy who just delivered his excellent ‘Night Terrors’ single for Suffused two weeks ago. The UK producer and firm favourite of the Stellar Fountain crew has crafted a fine remix to close the release out. In lowering the tempo just a touch and deepening the grooves Matt Sugden aka Suggy has produced what is our favourite mix on the package. The unique beat patterns, perfectly used vocal parts and dimly lit atmospheres combine for are a real slow burning masterpiece. Wonderful work from Suggy and a top notch release from Suffused Music.
