Techno legends Carl Coxย andย Franky Wahย are back in action on the latest preview from Coxโs forthcomingย Electronic Generationsย LP, โSee the Sun Rising.โ Their second all-time collaboration follows September 2021โs โWe Are One,โ released via Ministry of Sound Recordings.
โIโve been fortunate enough to collaborate with Carl on a record prior to this one, so to work on a second track is just a testament to how smooth the writing process between us is,โ says Wah. โI visited his home last year and he mentioned he had an album coming out but I had no idea heโd ask me to be a part of it, so when the opportunity came, I was honored. He sent through a handful of ideas but the melody and the song name โSee The Sun Risingโ really clicked with me.โ
Led by rhythm and melody, โSee the Sun Risingโ is the latest preview of Electronic Generations sound to hit streaming platforms, succeeding โHow It Makes You Feelโ withย Nicole Moudaberย in June. Notably, the 17-track album, to be distributed viaย BMGย on October 28, will be Coxโs first in more than a decade and will premiere in full during his October 17ย eventย at OVO Wembley Arena.
