Talal – Moapa (Boulevard Records)

Talal - Moapa

The latest release on Boulevard Records finds label boss Talal back in the spotlight.

Talal - Moapa

The UK based artist is fresh off an appearance at the world renowned Further Future festival in Las Vegas where he shared the stage with &Me, Dixon, Rampue, Rival Consoles and more. Now following his well received collaboration with harpist Tara Milton, Talal returns with a brand new solo offering entitled ‘Moapa’.

Consistent support from Maceo Plex, Sasha and Petar Dundov have made Talal a household name in the underground. His latest “Moapa’ has earned similar support and was written upon returning home from Further Future. Inspired by the conclusion at the Robot Heart bus, there’s a lot to love about ‘Moapa’. From its warm, laid back groove to melancholic haze there are many special moments locked inside this one. A delicate tonal motif sits perfectly over the hypnotic framework while a complement of sparkling keys hits just the right emotional notes for a tantalising journey. Talal has conveyed the vision of the record wonderfully as this really does sound tailor made for a desert sunrise. A gorgeous production and another stellar entry into the Boulevard Records catalog. Highly Recommended.

There is also a special ‘Moapa’ release party at Grow, Hackney on Friday, September 9th which Talal will be headlining alongside Hugh, JP and Tim Wigg.
