1. If you had to pick one track which solidified your love for electronic music early on what would it be?
Anton: Vadim Zhukov – Evolution
2. What was your first and last DJ gig?
Anton: My first performance was when I were 14 years old at the URBAN SOUND festival, I played Drum and Bass at that time. In this style I learned how to mix music. My last dj set was played in underground club called ICEBERG KAZAN, it was a preparty for Kazantip festival.
3. What was the first and last record you purchased?
Anton: First records, which I bought are were produced by: CRYSTAL METHOD, CHEMICAL BROTHERS, ORBITAL, WESTBAM. I bought all of them together at the same time 🙂 The last album which I bought is from Itunes by SOHN TREMORS
4. What would you say is the highlight of your career thus far?
Anton: The main point in my career was when I got into producing, not only dj’ing. As a producer I express my own feelings, thoughts and experience. It was my goal and I’ve been dreaming about it for years. And I’m very happy to do it now 🙂
5. Tell us something about yourself that might surprise people?
Anton: I work in the industrial and energy spend in communicating with major companies in Russia. At home I’m a loving husband and father, who can’t live without music! I’m wondering myself how I manage to do it 🙂
6. Who are some of the best undiscovered talents in your eyes?
Anton: Producer from Russia – Vadim Zhukov. The man who had to become a star in electronic scene, but was unable to continue his career because of health problems. I hope he can cope with everything and will surprise us again.
7. Which producers consistently inspire you?
Anton: GUY J, Henry Saiz, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Michael & Levan and Stiven Rivic
8. What artist or track would you love to remix? And who would you love to be remixed by?
Anton: Any Guy J track. But I love to do remixes and are taken exclusively for the work which I like, without any doubts!
9. Record labels are a dime a dozen these days. Which ones if any standout for you?
Anton: Lost & Found, Sudbeat, Bedrock, Suffused Music, Mistique Music, Stellar Fountain, Massive Harmony Records, OLD SQL Recordings, 3rd Avenue.
10. What would you say is the best mix compilation of all time?
Anton: Fonarev – Kazantip History Bar Mousson (2005)
