Hey Salvione, how are you?
I’m doing really well, thank you.
2023 is here and we’d like to know more about your plans and upcoming projects, do you have any new releases coming up?
I have a brand-new EP titled ‘Better Days’ due out April 28th on Baikonur Recordings. They were one of my favorite labels last year and one I said to look out for this year. They are consistently putting out top music so, I am beyond excited to be releasing this music with them. This was definitely a special project for me.
How about live shows, how does your live show schedule look like for the coming months?
I will be heading to Detroit and Orlando in the next few months and have a few other things in the works, plus summer tours are starting to shape up nicely.
Are there any special venues you’d like to perform at this year?
I am definitely focusing on the White Isle this year. Ibiza Rocks is high on my list. There is always such great energy there. Of course, Elrow Ibiza at Amnesia is not even a question. I would also like to play Cavo Paradiso in Mykonos, Soundcheck in Washington DC, Academy LA, and Fngrs Crssd. Of course, I’d always love to return to Antik in Costa Rica.
Do you have new upcoming collaborations? Are there other artists you’d like to work with?
There are a few things in the works with HARRT, who just had a massive release on Toolroom Trax. There are definitely a few artists I would like to work with this year like Sammy Porter, Luigi Rocca, Manuel De La Mare, and Hassio. I am loving what all 4 of them have been doing for a while now so, I would definitely love to do something with them.
Are there any other projects you’re embarking upon this year?
I have launched my Elevate Your Sound Academy, which is a music production coaching program aimed at getting producers to finish more music quickly and finish more release ready music. I’m really proud of my students, they are absolutely crushing it so far and the next cohort launches in the beginning of April and has some really eager and talented students already registered.
Is there a new implementation to your production workflow or your live performances you’d like to try this year?
I feel that production wise, I have spent years honing my workflow and I’m in a really good place right now, but my live performances I am trying to bring even more creativity too. I’m bringing back the live edits and using samples and hot cues to add more uniqueness and energy to my sets.
On a personal note, are there any new resolutions you made for yourself this year?
Yeah, I have 3. Show and give as much love to people as I can. Surrender to the flow of life and be present as much as possible each day. The last one can be challenging at times. With everything I have going on between producing, DJing, and all of the ins and outs of running my brand, ELEVATE which includes ELEVATED Radio, a weekly newsletter, the ELEVATE Your Sound Facebook group full of production tips, tutorials, and more plus the ELEVATE Your Sound Academy, it can feel like I’m constantly on the go and thinking about the next thing. This is why it is important for me to try to stay mindful and to remind myself to slow down and enjoy the journey.
What new milestones would you like to achieve with your music?
I’ve reached the Top 100 release charts on Beatport multiple times now, but I’ve never reached the singles charts and I’m hoping that this is the year for that.
What’s the most important thing you’re looking forward to this year?
That’s an easy one. The most important thing I am looking forward to this year is my wedding. My fiancé is my biggest fan and number 1 supporter. I could not have dreamed up a better partner than her. She listens to me talk about a lot of different music things from track ideas, to career decisions you name it. She’s always there to listen and is excited for me even if she has no idea what I’m talking about.
