The Reactivitz is a French techno talent who has steadily been building momentum with his releases on high-flying labels including Intec, Suara, Unrilis, FORM and Octopus.
Most recently, The Reactivitz featured a solo track on a mixed artist EP put out by UMEK’s label 1605, which has recently been dominating the techno charts with a string of No.1 tracks on Beatport.
The VA titled “Desiderati 4.1” includes four tracks handpicked by UMEK and each of them is true to the 1605 label owners sound, blending club-ready percussion and heavy kick drums with powerful melodies.
Along with the track by The Reactivitz the EP also includes cuts from Lazar (IT), Julien Earle and Heerhorst. Overall, it is a fantastic EP with all the tracks having a peak time style destined to devastate the dance floor in an eruption of excitement.
Although all four tracks are incredible, it’s the one from The Reactivitz that caught our attention the most, as not only is he a friend of CU, but his track “Parallel Universe” has all the elements of a perfect techno track.
Parallel Universe has a dark atmosphere full of suspense and an uplifting melody that contrasts nicely with the shadowy mood of its surrounding parts. With a spooky vocal adding to the unfolding drama, it’s a truly epic track that deserves to be played loud!
