After a hugely influential few years of setting new party benchmarks in the north of England, cavernous warehouse space Canal Mills is hosting two fantastic final parties on New Yearโs Eve 2018 and New Yearโs Day 2019.
Canal Mills will present a host of local promotions and DJs playing next to international guests including Disciples, Danny Howard, Waze & Odyssey.
Over the years there have been many highlights at this historic former mill, from the famous 12 hour NYD parties to back to backs between Four Tet and Caribou, Stormzyโs debut in Leeds, the mini-festival like Garden Parties, magical live sets from Bonobo and countless other raves, beer festivals and plenty more. Untold musical memories and lasting friendships have been formed over the last five years plus at this special venue, and there are two final chances to be a part of a little piece of Leedsโ dance music history.
The first is a last ever iconic New Yearโs Eve event, with Disciples playing the hallowed midnight slot and Radio 1 tastemaker and Nothing Else Matters boss Danny Howard, plus long time bass heavy house champs Waze & Odyssey also in Room 1. Room 2 will bring together all the local legends who have been the lifeblood of the scene, with details to come. Next to the party starting soundtrack, there will be a special midnight production to make this one last NYE party to remember.
