Christian Lรถffler is one of Germany’s most creative music artists, not only has he releases tracks on labels ranging from Life And Death to 20/20 Vision, but he is also a talented visual artist.
Prior to the forthcoming release of Christian Lรถffler’s new album due to drop mid-March. We wanted to learn more about Christian Lรถffler’s creative side, so asked him to tell us about his visual art…
Christian Lรถffler: “My biggest passion besides music is visual art – photography but especially painting. For me making music is quite digital most of the time and pretty much connected to a computer through almost the whole process. I love the physical part of painting. Itโs about building the canvases and mixing the pigments. You can smell colours. Itโs a chance to step back from the screen for a moment. It’s a completely different approach to transform my inspiration, but it comes from the same urge to create.”
