Lost Desert Invites his Friends Along for New EP

Lost Desert has assembled progressive maestros from far and wide for his latest, ‘Lost Desert & Friends‘. Like many of his momentous works, the Souksonic owner signed it over to All Day I Dream, and even invited Lee Burridge back into the studio for a feelsy vocal number titled ‘Welch’.

Simon Vuarambon, Bona Fide, and Amand also join Lost Desert in his collaborative venture, each adding their own distinctive sonic flavours to their anchoring counterpart. The Amand-assisted ‘That Moment And You’, for example, features an extravagant breakdown and various bits of exotic string instrumentation for an ethereal, yet frenetic tune. ‘Earth Before Humans,’ co-writted by Simon Vuarambon, starts off with disonant sound effects before introducing a mysterious hook and sweeping string sections. Finally, Lost Desert completes the record with an atmospheric take on DSF’s ‘Mystika’.

The EP is of top quality, as Lost Desert productions usually are, and marks another long player gem among his discography. A worthy follow-up of his and Lee Burridge’s ‘Melt’.
