Italian techno icon Markantonio is label owner of AnalyticTrail and one of the people to help pioneer techno in Italy.

Based in Naples, he is one of people to have inspired the younger generation of DJ’s to have also come from his home town.

Markantonio has released many solo tracks on labels such as Unrilis, Sleaze Records and Drumcode. He has also collaborated with other iconic artists including Paco Osuna, Joseph Capriati and Roberto Capuano.

In recent years a regular collaborator with Markantonio has been Lerio Corrado and together they have contributed to labels including Tronic and Second State, with their next EP out now on Carl Cox’s Intec.
