Da Fresh is a French artist whose style skates the line between techno and melodic house, and his new release is a stunning two-tracker on Bodhi Collective.

Bodhi Collective is part of Audiophile Music Group’s label chain, and it’s got a melodic style that blends uplifting melodies with epic progressions.

The two tracks on this release follow up on Da Fresh’s previous EP for Bodhi Collective, which charted inside Beatport’s top 100, making this a hotly anticipated follow up.

Opening the “Tokyo Cat EP” is the namesake title track which is all about the soaring power of the main pad sound that lifts the track, but for us, the highlight cut is “Three Years Later”.

Three Years Later starts off with the dramatic throb of the bass stabs that provide an underlying dark atmosphere over which the intricate bleeps of the melody are layered. Mesmerizing and intensely euphoric, there are techy elements that give this cut a driving momentum that makes it perfect for a dancefloor.
