The hotly tipped Komaroff returns to Bermudos this week for a new EP. The Russian born but Israel based producer made a huge mark with his remix of KAGO DO’s ‘Sunrise P-14’ from May of this year. It’s great to see him back on Bermudos with a new EP entitled ‘Bermuda Triangle’.

The first cut ‘Push The Button’ title sets a serious tone early with a heavy groove. Some wicked modulation on the bass line takes the track somewhere nice and twisted while the long grainy sweeps add a nice contrast to the chunky groove. The piece really picks up steam at the midway point with some driving percussion that pushes towards a funky climax. The title track is next comes with a similar tough groove that is just a touch techier. It’s pretty stripped down in terms of electronics but a wealth of great drums really adds some nice drive. After a short drop the groove picks back up with even more intensity as waves of percs and haunting gates propel the track to a nice conclusion. The final cut on the EP ‘Organized Crime’ is another journey into dark and sinister sounding tech house. Haunting vocal gates and driving techy rhythms make for a great mid set type tune and rounds out 3 very strong tracks from Komaroff.
