Michael A – Frankield (Clinique Recordings)

The latest release from Clinique Recordings features the return of Michael A to the label for a brand new single.

Michael A - Frankield

The Belarus based producer is making his second appearance on the Russian imprint which follows his remix for MiraculuM’s ‘Whirlwinder’ which was released in November of last year. Michael A’s latest studio production and also debut single for Clinique is entitled ‘Frankield’ and it comes with a remix from Marcelo Vasami.

Michael A has quickly grown into one of the most recognizable electronic music artists from Belarus. He’s continued to take his progressive sound to deeper and more groove oriented places and it’s really paying off. Support from world class DJs like John OO Fleming, Hernan Cattaneo and even Armin Van Buuren has been rolling in as a result. ‘Frankield’ again features some wonderful atmospheric grooves which take things even deeper and housier than we’ve heard before. Spacious rhythms create a swing heavy framework which allows all of Michael’s now trademark spacey designs to really work their magic and your dance floor will certainly appreciate this as well. Also included is a second original from Michael entitled Milk&tea which carries a more progressive vibe all while keeping things very deep and hypnotic. A wealth of drums give the groove a great presence and a smooth flow of liquid like lines makes for a really smooth journey. Two excellent cuts from Michael A.

The lone interpretation of ‘Frankield’ is provided by Marcelo Vasami who is making his third appearance on Clinique Recordings. As a veteran of the Argentinean electronic music scene and long time favourite of Hernan Cattaneo Marcelo has been all over the world Djing his brand of deep, percussive house. His production sound has continued to evolve and he’s gotten 2015 off to a great start with a deep and enchanting interpretation of ‘Frankield’. It complements the original very well with its warm full grooves, rich textures and soulful musical themes which make for an unforgettable main break. This sits nicely alongside some of Marcelo’s finest creations to date and once again shows that he’s still at the top of his game. Top notch release from Clinique Recordings. Don’t miss it.
