The 99th release on Baroque Digital sees Nick Wolanski returning to the UK label group for his second overall appearance. The UK producer made his label debut just last month with an appearance on Baroque’s WMC 2014 Sampler which was a resounding success. Nick’s debut EP for Baroque is entitled ‘Breaking Bad’ and it comes with two brand new original tracks.

The title cut sees Nick with one of his most progressive inspired pieces to date. The groove is undeniably funky and is without a doubt what makes this such a standout dance floor composition. The main break is also perfectly dialed in with a massive build and tension laced filter which combine for the ultimate payoff. This should see many hands in the air moments over the next few months and would have to be one of Nick’s biggest productions to date. The companion piece ‘Insignificant’ sees Nick dropping the tempo just a touch and coming up with the perfect tech house complement for ‘Breaking Bad’. This one’s got another perfectly constructed groove with well carved bass stabs and lively tones which add amazing rhythm and vibrancy to the mix. The soft, drifting vocal elements are just the icing on the cake as well; very tastefully done and perfectly in line with the more laid back vibe of the record. Excellent EP from Nick and a superb outing for Baroque once again.
