Plu-ton – Deep Distance (Mistique Music)

Russian producer Plu-ton makes his debut appearance on Michael & Levan and Stiven Rivic’s Mistique Music this week for the labels 338th overall release. Aleksandr Shiryaev aka Plu-ton has been developing his melodic breakbeat sound over the course of 2012 on A-Breaks and Need4Beat. His debut EP for Mistique is entitled ‘Deep Distance’ and it comes with two brand new original productions.

The title track leads the release off with a big set of bass tones, emotional chord changes and a solid break beat groove. There are lots of bubbly electronics and glassy keys which weave their way in and out of the production over the course of its 10 minute plus journey and the main break is a gorgeous ambient interlude that you won’t soon forget. The companion track ‘In The Constellation Pluto’ comes with a slightly mellower vibe but equally as gorgeous with breath-taking key sequences and absolutely heavenly atmospherics. If your a fan of melodic breaks you can’t go wrong with either track here. Nice to see that Mistique has keep pushing the melodic breaks sound when so many other labels abandoned it many years ago.
