And no – he hasn’t charted his new remix either, in case you were being sceptical!

The legend himself that is Riva Starr has kindly shared his fave top 10 remixes to support his forthcoming remix of Satori’s ‘Umama’ which is out this Friday on Damian Lazarus’s esteemed Crosstown Rebels.

1) Djuma Soundsystem – Les Djinns (Trentemoller Remix)

Great vibe on this Trentemoller rework of Les Djinns, i don’t think i’ve ever heard the original! 🙂

2) The Juan Maclean – Give Me Every Little Thing (Cajmere Remix)

The man can do no wrong wether it’s a Green Velvet production or a Cajmere rework, check the funk!

3) Scott Grooves – Mothership Reconnection (Daft Punk Mix)

One of the rare Daft Punk rnxs ad what a rmx! That electro intro is just one of my favourite tracks intro ever!

4) Pacha – One Kiss (F.O.S. One Remix)

Oh man what a trip this rmx is from the italian Father Of Sound, great synth melodies through the track and the final surprise of them soulful deep vocals. Amazing with capital A.

5) Azzido Da Bass – Dooms Night (Timo Maas Remix)

This is the track that actual got me intop breakbeats when i was running my MADOX project, it’s one of them tunes that get support from all across the board no matter what your style is!

6) Kerri Chandler – Pong (Ben Klock’s Bones & Strings Rework)

Nice and simple, on of the best from mr Klock.

7) ROMAN FLÜGEL “More&more&more” (SERGE & TYRELL RMX)

What a groove on this, not many manage to rick such a known sample without making it sound cheesy… this is the case!

8) Luke Solomon – Ghouls (Claude VonStroke’s Beats From The Grave Mix)

One of the best from mr Vonstroke, that bassline is something else!

9) Green Velvet – Destination Unknown (Carl Craig’s C2 Detroit-Chicago Unity Dub)

Groove, groove and groove on this amazing rework from sir Craig. Hitting you like an electrick shock!

10) Green Velvet & Riva Starr – Robots (Mind Against Remix)

So happy we got to receive a rmx from these talented guys, the arrangement takes you by hand till the end in a fantastic journey.
