The latest release from Flow Vinyl sees a welcome return for Argentinean DJ and producer Santiago Garcia. His collaboration with Dark Soul Project, ‘Loco’, released towards the end of 2012, was a freakily funky dancefloor cut that marked both Buenos Aires-based producers out as exciting young artists. This time Garcia is back with the ‘Stunning’ EP featuring four new original tracks.

‘Stunning’ itself leads the charge with the same kind of simple but highly effective groove which worked so well on ‘Loco’. We’re talking proper low-slung, late night action bristling with electronic energy. The heavily treated vocals of Amber Long only add to the effect giving ‘Stunning’ a deliciously sleazy edge.

Patrik Carrera from Australia, otherwise known as MUUI, is in fine form on the remix taking the funk up another level with extra percussion and a lighter, spacey vibe.‘Destination’ is the next original track which has a similarly hypnotic feel to ‘Stunning’, but with a growling bassline. Garcia’s trademark vocal effects are once again in evidence for added drama.

‘No Time for You’, meanwhile, features more of a deep house groove and vocoder vocals revealing a lighter side to his music, and perfect for getting the party started. Completing this superb EP is ‘Everything to Lose’ with Garcia turning up the pressure again, and getting dark and dirty. Swirling synths, robotic voices and a killer groove – Santiago Garcia in full effect! Release Promo Hype Chart #8
