Bermudos returns this week following a superb 2 track EP from Constan just last week. This week sees De Wachtkamer’s imprint giving their fans 2 new remixes of Tech D. The Ukrainian producer released his ‘When The Shadows Come To Life’ on Bermudos back in August of 2012 and now for the labels 27th overall release there are brand new interpretations from Khen and D-Mand.

Leading the release off is D-Mand’s interpretation of ‘When The Shadows Come To Life. For those of you not familiar with D-Mand he’s a producer form Portugal by the name of Diogo Ferreira who’s appeared on some great imprints including Stereo Paradise, Manual and Micro Digital. This is his debut on Bermudos and he’s provided a fine remix of ‘When The Shadows Come To Life’. A stripped down and spacious groove lays down the framework of the track while funky bass stabs and rhythmic drums form a great groove. The track builds some nice tension over the first 4 or so minutes before a new wobbly groove is dropped in which ups the energy nicely. The hypnotic stabs create a flowing vortex of energy which pushes the track through to a nice climax where some waning atmospheric tones heighten the senses nicely.

The second cut on EP ‘Space & Arps’ is remixed by Khen who is returning to Bermudos for his third overall appearance. Hen Falah aka Khen is one of the most touted up and coming producers from the talent rich Israeli electronic music scene. Working solo or sometimes in conjunction with Guy Mantzur Khen’s productions have appeared on Whose Haus, Movement, Lowbit and Somebody’s Story. He’s also a regular behinds the decks at one of Israeli most famed venues ‘Cat & Dog’. This is a huge week for Khen as his collaboration with Sonic Union is being released by Cid Inc’s Replug imprint in addition to his remix here. Khen’s has marvellously reworked ‘Space & Arps’ into a chugging dance floor gem. A rolling, infectious bass line drives the track with rhythmic tones and airy pads surrounding the energetic framework. The track builds steadily towards a nice climax which features gaseous atmospherics and long trailing sweeps which provide just the right amount of epicness to the mix. Great stuff from Khen and another top notch release from Bermudos. Release Promo Hype Chart Top 25
